S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia continues running electric tests on the Mini Research Module MRM1 in the checkout and testing facility. MRM1 is to be delivered to the International Space Station (ISS) on-board Space Shuttle the next year.
The first stage of of vibration strength tests on the full-scale dynamic mockup of the Mini Research Module MRM1 for loads during the launch of the MRM1 on-board Space Shuttle has been completed .
Electric tests of the heater and inspection of panel cover have been completed on a full-scale mockup of the radiator/heat exchanger intended for design development tests. The flight model of the radiator will be delivered to ISS on the outside equipment bracket of MRM1 and subsequently moved to the multipurpose laboratory module of the ISS Russian Segment, which is to be launched in 2012.
