A meeting of the State Board for the launch of the fourth
Russian visiting crew to the ISS was held. The State Board
approved the Soyuz TMA-1 prime crew consisting of Sergei
Zaletin, Commander, flight cosmonaut of RF, Instructor-test-cosmonaut
of Yu. A. Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center; Frank De Winne,
Flight Engineer, ESA's Belgian astronaut and Yuri Lonchakov,
Flight Engineer, test-cosmonaut of Yu. A. Gagarin Cosmonaut
Training Center.
The backup crew consisting of Yuri Lonchakov, Commander,
and Alexander Lazutkin, Flight Engineer, flight cosmonaut
of RF, test-cosmonaut of RSC Energia.
The State Board confirmed the scheduled launch date and
time, i.e. October 30, 2002 at 06:11 a.m. Moscow time (03:11
