Following
its launch from Baikonur Cosmodrome on June 26, 2002, a
3-day free flight in near-earth orbit, the Russian cargo
transport vehicle Progress M-46 has successfully docked
today to the International Space Station (ISS).
06/26/2002 Baikonur Cosmodrome.
In
accordance with the ISS mission plan, a logistics vehicle
Progress M-46 has been put into a low Earth orbit.
The vehicle was launched at 09:36:30 Moscow Summer Time
(05:36:30 GMT).
06/24/2002 Baikonur Cosmodrome.
The
launcher with the Progress M-46 cargo vehicle was rolled
out from Assembly and Test Building, delivered to the launching
area and erected on the launch pad.

Progress M-46 cargo vehicle has been integrated with the
launch vehicle in Launch Vehicle Assembly and Testing Facility.
The Intergovermental Commitee and Technical Management decided
to roll out the launcher with the Progress M-46 transport
cargo vehicle from the integration and test facility to
the launch pad on June 24, 2002.
