December 1, 1967, Kaliningrad (now - Korolev), Moscow Area.
Father - Kozeev, Mir Nikonovich, born in 1941.
Mother - Kozeeva, Aleksandra Fedorovna, born in 1943.

EDUCATION:
In 1992 he graduated from Moscow Aviation Technology College.

MARITAL STATUS: single.

HOBBY: cycling, skiing.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
From March, 1991, to April, 1996, - an engineer at S.P. Korolev RSC Energia.
On April 2, 1996, he was taken on the list of RSC Energia cosmonaut team as a candidate test-cosmonaut.
In 1998 he was assigned as a test-cosmonaut at RSC Energia.
From June, 1996, to March, 1998, he passed through the course of general space training at Gagarin cosmonaut training center.
From October, 1998, to August, 2000, he was under training at the cosmonaut team on ISS program.
Since September, 2000 - training as a flight engineer for prime crew of the Soyuz TM space vehicle on the program of the 2-nd Russian visit to the ISS.
