The General Designers Review Board devoted to the Russian Segment (RS) of the International Space Station (ISS) was held at OAO S.P.Korolev Rocket & Space Corporation Energia under the chairmanship of V.A.Lopota.

The following reports and messages were heard at the meeting:

  • On prelaunch processing status of transport manned vehicle (TMV) Soyuz TMA-19, ISS operational status and deorbiting preparation status of Soyuz TMA-17 TMV;
  • Soyuz-FG launch vehicle (LV) operational readiness to launch Soyuz TMA-19;
  • Launch site readiness to launch the rocket space complex with Soyuz TMA-19;
  • On the ISS mission results, flight program for the next period, ISS operational status, readiness of Lead Operational Control Team (LOCT) and flight support systems for implementation of the next ISS-24 Expedition program and completion of the ISS-22/23 Expedition flight;
  • ISS USOS status and readiness for the next flight phase under the ISS flight program;
  • On operational readiness of the ground control loop and ground control infrastructure to support forthcoming operations with Soyuz TMA-19, Soyuz TMA-17 and ISS;
  • On readiness of search and rescue aids to perform operations in support of Soyuz TMA-19 launch and Soyuz TMA-17 descent module landing;
  • On readiness of the ISS-24 Expedition crew to implement the forthcoming work program on the ISS and the ISS-22/23 Expedition crew to complete the flight;
  • On health status of the ISS-22, ISS-23 and ISS-24 crews;
  • On compliance of Soyuz TMA-19 with the technical specifications and standard documentation.

Heard were the supporting reports, reports and statements of General Designers, responsible representatives from the organizations and enterprises involved in the ISS Program implementation. Heard were also statements on readiness of Soyuz TMA-19 systems and structure, general report on Soyuz-FG/Soyuz TMA-19 components and ISS hardware for the next flight phase.

There are no obstacles to continue the ISS Program activities.

The General Designers Review Board decided to approve the plan of forthcoming activities to complete prelaunch processing of Soyuz TMA-19 proposed by S.P.Korolev RSC Energia. Approved were also Corporation proposals on the ISS-24 Expedition program and Soyuz TMA-17 flight completion with the ISS 22/23 crew return to ground.

The General Designers Review Board was attended by managers and representatives of Roscosmos, foreign space agencies (NASA, ESA), RSC Energia departments, organizations and enterprises representing Russian rocket-space industry.

  1. S.P. Korolev RSC Energia is a leading Russian enterprise engaged in developing and operation of the ISS RS, its integration into station, and transportation support /maintenance using Soyuz, Progress vehicles, as well as development of the main Russian modules of the station (Zvezda, Pirs, Poisk, Rassvet, etc.) and their integration into the ISS RS.
  2. Soyuz TMA-19 launch is scheduled on June 16, 2010, Soyuz TMA-17 flight completion is scheduled on June 2, 2010.
