Expedition 10 (ISS-10)
MAIN TASKS OF THE EXPEDITION
- Launch of ISS-10 crew consisting of two crewmembers and one person as part of the visiting crew (VC-7) by
transport manned spacecraft Soyuz TMA-5 in flight 9S;
- Docking of spacecraft Soyuz TMA-5 to the Docking Compartment (DC1);
- Operational support for undocking of Soyuz TMA-4, Progress M-50, and Progress M-51;
- Operational support for undocking of Progress M-51, Progress M-52, Soyuz-TMA-6;
- Unloading of spacecraft Soyuz TMA-5, Progress M-51 and Progress M-52;
- Support of the Space Station functionality;
- Performance of extravehicular activity: two EVAs on the ISS RS from the Docking Compartment Pirs (DC 1);
- Performance of the science and application research program and experiments, as well as contract-based commercial activities;
- Crew handover to Increment ISS-11 and return of ISS-10 crew and participant of the flight under the visiting
crew program (VC-8) to Earth on transport spacecraft Soyuz TMA-5.
