Production of Consumer Goods
Having space technologies as our core business, our enterprise has long ago become established as a producer of consumer
goods.
Since 1970, the enterprise has brought the output of metal utensils (pressure cookers and milk cookers) to
a commercial level. In 1989 their output amounted to 900,000 units.
Since 1990, the enterprise has started producing household appliances. For this purpose, a special manufacturing process
has been brought to a commercial level, which made it possible to produce food processors under the license of SANYO (Japanese
company). In 1995 the output of vacuum cleaners has started under the same license. A total capacity is 450,000 units per year.
In 2000 a new commodity, electric mixer complete with add-on units (multipurpose grinding mill and vegetable shredder),
was developed and its production was adopted.
In 2002 the enterprise in cooperation with CANDY (Italian company) established the EDA joint venture and as early as in 2003
the joint enterprise has begun the output of a new vacuum cleaner ALPINA, which corresponds to standards adopted in Europe.
In addition, in cooperation with the METTAM Company, we are making water purification filters.
